Is Buying A Designer Handbag Good Value?

By Lee MacRae

Designer handbags and purses today come in a large variety of designs and styles that allow the lady who buys one of them to express their own sense of fashion. Designer handbag can be found in many different styles from contemporary designs to casual handbags or the more traditional designs. But there is the fact that these bags usually cost a lot more than one you find at a small local convenience store. So we have to ask ourselves, are they worth the money you have to pay?

For someone who has money to burn the question doesn't really matter. But if you want to make sure you get value for your money you want to be sure that Juicy Couture handbag is going to last. Well, the good news is manufacturers of designer handbags used top grade material such as leather. Leathers will give your handbag a great appearance and will last a long time as leather has an excellent abrasion and wind resistance to it. Fine leathers also have the additional quality of suppleness. If you handle a handbag and hear the leather crack... it is low-grade leather. Avoid it!

No doubt part of the cost is the name of the designer. But you should also realize you will pay for quality when you buy a name brand product. Top designer handbags by Hogan or Melie Bianco will be made from the best leather material.

Want a hint to know what you're getting? Top designer handbags will always have a fine lining material inside. Cheaper handbags will not. Makers of lower grade products look for every possible way to keep costs down. Cheaper handbags have low-grade linings and low grade hardware on them. Avoid these like the plague. Full grain leather products are made from top grade natural hides without imperfections. These top grain leather's are extremely durable. It is long-lasting and eventually will develope a rich patina that increases in beauty. Full-grained handbags are usually created from the hides of young cattle and have extremely smooth texture, and very fine quality.

In conclusion, you may pay a lot for a handbag by Stone Mountain or Etienne Aigner but what you're getting for your money is a handbag of the finest quality that will stand the test of time. Even if you have to save up your money, use it wisely and by a designer handbag.

Tips About discount juicy couture clothing

Ready-to-wear Ready-to-wear clothes are a cross between haute couture and mass market. They are not made for individual customers, but great care is taken in the choice and cut of the fabric. Clothes are made in small quantities to guarantee exclusivity, so they are rather expensive. Ready-to-wear collections are usually presented by fashion houses each season during a period known as Fashion Week. This takes place on a city-wide basis and occurs twice per year.

Charles Frederick Worth, ironically an Englishman rather than a Frenchman, is widely considered the father of haute couture. While taking once-off commissions for wealthy clients, he also created a collection of designs to be shown by models at the House of Worth. Customers could then choose a model, specify colours, fabrics or changes and have that garment made-to-measure.

New recruit reporting in!

Tue, 10 Feb 2004 17:10:00 GMT

Hello everyone. This is my first dotNetJunkie.com blog entry! My name is Jean-Philippe Couture, and I am a senior student at a local college. Born and raised in snowy land near Quebec City, Canada. I am studying software engineering, working almost exclusively with the Microsoft .NET platform for the last year or so. I am planning to get my Microsoft developer certifications (MCAD, MCSD) before the end of spring 2004.

Before picking up Microsoft .NET, I was an old-school *NIX-based developer that would stay as far away as possible from a Microsoft product. Oh, I once did a very small incursion into the early Java world, which left me with a bad taste in the mouth. I have to admit, that ever since I made the big switch to the Microsoft .NET development framework, I am more and more pleased with Microsoft products.

I am working with a small development team at school to complete our final project, which is going to be using almost every current aspects of what the framework as to offer. I say current, because we don't have access yet to any next-generation technology (ie: Whidbey, Avalon, Indigo, WinFS, Yukon, etc). We are on a somewhat tight schedule, but I am fairly confident in the tools we are using to get the job done on time, and have a great product release by May 2004.

I am looking forward joining this exciting community, as I have been an avid reader for the past 6 months. By the way, I want to thank Donny Mack for hooking me up with this blog. ;-)
